Hearing Services oversees the citation process for the Canyon Lake POA. If you have received a notification regarding a citation from Community Patrol this department can help you through the process of resolving your citation.

Hearing Services Hours

Hearing Services is part of the Canyon Lake POA's Corporate office is located inside the Canyon Lake POA Administrative Office in the Towne Center Plaza. Office hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Anyone visiting our offices is asked to wear a face covering and practice social distancing. We encourage members to continue to utilized our online services and phone support.

What Are Citations & Violations?

Community Patrol enforces the Canyon Lake POA's Rules & Regulations by issuing citations. Members may receive violations for not adhering to the Canyon Lake POA's Architectural Guidelines as published in the Canyon Lake POA's Rules & Regulations.

If you have received a notification regarding a citation and would like to make a payment, please have the citation number (located at the top right-hand corner of the citation) and chose from the following options:

  1. Mail a check or money order made out to Canyon Lake Property Owners Association to:
    31512 Railroad Canyon Road
    Canyon Lake, CA 92587
  2. Pay in person at the Canyon Lake POA Office located at 31512 Railroad Canyon Road in Canyon Lake with a check, money order or credit card
  3. Pay over the phone with a credit or debit card by calling the Member Services department at 951-244-6841 x310

Community Patrol enforces the Canyon Lake POA's Rules & Regulations by issuing citations. To appeal a citation, a member must complete a Citation Appeals Request Form within 15 days.

The Citation Appeals Request Form must be signed by the Prime or Associate Member, then faxed, emailed, or submitted in person to the Hearing Services Associate. Once submitted, the appeal will be processed. The Canyon Lake POA will then mail a notification with an appeals date in which the member can present their case to the Appeals Committee.


Sign-ups for Appeals begin at 5 p.m., with the first case heard at 5:30 p.m. The first person to sign-up will be the first person seen. Appeals are typically held on the last Monday of the month.
